VIDEO PREMIERE: Ina May Wool "Cigarettes and Chocolate Candy"

I've been a fan of NYC singer-songwriter Ina May Wool, ever since I heard "Elephant Learning to Dance" on her debut album, Moon Over 97th St. in 1999. She's only had one other solo album since then, but she's been getting inspired through the weekly Jack Hardy Songwriters' Exchange. She's just released her first-ever music video for "Cigarettes and Chocolate Candy." Not only does she play guitar and sing on it, she actually produced the video herself, a beautiful, affectionate tribute to her mother. The New Folk Initiative is pleased to present it in honor of Mothers Day.
