VIDEO PREMIERE: Karyn Oliver "Pelican"

Maryland born and raised, but now Texas-based, Karyn Oliver will be releasing her fifth album, Cherchez La Femmex in September. In advance, she's releasing a series of singles. The latest is "Pelican," which goes public today, the birth anniversary of her late sister. Produced by Katherine Etzel, a fellow "Chick with Dip" (who also produced the album), the video has a summertime theme and a New Orleans vibe. The New Folk Initiative is proud to offer this timely exclusive premiere.
