Gawain and the Green Knight are a homemade valentine to that cute ghost in your attic! A Brooklyn-based band made up of married folks Alexia Antoniou and Mike O’Malley, Gawain and the Green Knight have been performing around NYC since 2018. Whether on their two EPs (Ghosties and A Sleeping Place) or in cozy living rooms and hushed bars, Gawain and the Green Knight are here to sing about their affection for tiny human moments and their healthy fear of death- and to cradle this music in lovingly-arranged chamber folk. https://www.gawainandthegreenknightband.com/
Singer/songwriter Zoe FitzGerald Carter began playing guitar and singing as a teenager in Washington D.C. An author as well as musician, she released her first album, Waiting for the Earthquake, in 2018 and her new album, Waterlines, in March of 2021. Known for her literary songwriting style and deep honey voice, Americana Highways wrote: "There aren’t any boring moments. They’re all well-crafted songs. On 'Below the Waterline,' Zoe sounds like she’s channeling the songwriting style of Nanci Griffith thru a Mary Chapin Carpenter tone.” https://zoecartermusic.com/
Vocalists and multi-instrumentalists Katie Pearlman and Victoria Faiella were longtime mutual admirers of each other’s music. When they finally had the chance to sing, it was striking how lovely the blend of their voices sounded. Shortly after, Katie asked Victoria to lend background vocals in her highly revered band, The Joni Project. Now known as The Blessed Unrest, Katie and Victoria describe singing together as a sisterhood deepened by a mutual love of music, performing, songwriting and of course, all things Joni Mitchell.
