Sunday Supper: 12/22/19

With Chanukah starting on Sunday and Christmas on Wednesday, it must be time for the annual "Sunday Supper Festival of Holiday Songs," a deluxe hour for the most wonderful time of the year. We'll hear a lot of new recordings of old favorites by folks like Keb' Mo', Bailen, RUNA, and Los Lobos (off their new album Llego Navidad).

Then there will be new original holiday tunes by Josh Rouse, Amos Lee, Meghan Cary, Phoebe Hunt & the Gatherers, Cecilia Kirtland and the Soulstice Sisters, and others.

So break out the eggnog (or latkes) and celebrate with the "Sunday Supper" from 5-6 p.m. EST at 90.7 FM and streaming online. And don't worry if you miss it then, you can always find it on demand via the WFUV Weekend Archives, the WFUV app, or that smart speaker which knows all.
