Sunday Supper: 05/26/19

Susan Werner, the eternal chameleon of contemporary folk, has turned her attention to the Crescent City on her latest project, NOLA: Susan Werner Goes to New Orleans. I’ll be hosting an onstage conversation with her on June 1 at the Port Washington Public Library, but we’ll get a taste of the album on today’s “Sunday Supper.”

In honor of Memorial Day, we’ll also have a brief tribute to our military veterans from John Gorka, Bruce Springsteen, and Ordinary Elephant. And, to celebrate Stevie Nicks’ birthday – and her two-time induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame – a medley of covers by the Dixie Chicks, Lissie, and Christine Sweeney.
