Sunday Supper: 08/11/19

A lot is happening in David Crosby's life: his 78th birthday on August 14, his free concert at Lincoln Center Out of Doors this Sunday, and the release of Cameron Crowe's revealing documentary, "David Crosby: Remember My Name." David will discuss his career and his commitment to music this week on the Sunday Supper at 5 pm.

With the 50th anniversary of Woodstock next week, Sunday Supper offers the ultimate mashup of Joni Mitchell's song in versions by, among others, Richie Havens, America, James Taylor, and, of course, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Speaking of festivals, we’ll give a shout to some of the outstanding performances from the Falcon Ridge Festival and we’ll also celebrate Mark Knopfler’s 70th birthday on Monday.

As Crosby would say, "Music Is Love," and you'll find it from 5-6 p.m. at 90.7/wfuv.org, or anytime in the Weekend Archives. (If you have a smart speakers, request WFUV and then specify Sunday Supper.)
