Sunday Supper: 11/08/20

"Sunday Supper" has a septuagenarian salute this week.  We'll toast Neil Young's 75th birthday with a sampling of his solo work and CSNY, plus recent covers by Rachael Sage and Katie Pruitt. In honor of Neil's fellow Canadian, Joni Mitchell's birthday yesterday, we'll delve into a couple of songs from the Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 1: The Early Years (1963-1967), including a rare version of Neil's "Sugar Mountain." And we'll make room for that relative youngster Bruce Springsteen's fine new album Letter to You.

With "On Your Radar" on tap for Tuesday, we'll have selections from a younger generation, too: the harmony-driven husband-and-wife duo, Friction Farm, the powerful topical singer, Tom Prasada-Rao, and the warmed-hearted New Englander, Kim Moberg, plus a bonus track from the Chicks with Dip collective.

All ages are welcome from 5-6 p.m. at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org, or anytime in the WFUV Weekend Archives, on the WFUV app or the ageless smart speaker of your choice.
