Sunday Supper: 06/28/20
Bob Dylan's Rough and Rowdy Ways is the 800-pound gorilla of new releases, and this week's "Sunday Supper" is happy to pay attention. But there are many other new worthies, including New Yorkers Norah Jones (with her inspiring Lift Me Up Off the Floor), Suzanne Vega, Sarah Jarosz, and Woodstock's The Mammals.
Two other New York-area artists, Doug Mishkin and Fred Arcoleo, offer reality checks on racism, while Jason Wilber, who spent 24 years as John Prine's guitarist, shares his mentor's gift for songwriting.
Whether uplifting or sober, the music fills the bill from 5-6 p.m. at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org or anytime in the WFUV Weekend Archives, on the WFUV or the rough and rowdy smart speaker of your choice.
