Sunday Supper: 11/21/21

This week's "Sunday Supper" will set the table for Thanksgiving with songs from David Roth, Jesse Palidofsky, Sarah McQuaid, and Herdman, Hills & Mangsen, plus classic comedy by Stan Freberg.  Continuing the celebratory spirit, I'll toast Dr. John, who would've been 80 this weekend, including an exclusive solo version of "Such a Night" performed live in Studio A.

We'll also invoke Mother Earth with Eric Lambert, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Son Volt and ring the bell for social justice with Bob Dylan, Willie Nile, and Chris Pierce.  Finally, we'll check out Raise the Roof, the long-awaited sequel to Raising Sand from Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
