Sunday Supper: 12/18/22

This Sunday is just three days before the Winter Solstice, as we look forward to the days getting longer. It's the season when cultures over the centuries have celebrated the coming of the light. It's the first night of Hanukkah on Sunday and the last night of WFUV's year-end member drive.

I'll bring some light musically on the "Sunday Supper" with Gathering Sparks, Gathering Time, Kim & Reggie Harris and Magpie, They Might Be Giants, Marie Knight, Odetta, Jesse Colin Young, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Cat Stevens, and Seal, plus a timely new release by Shemekia Copeland and a track by Amanda Shires from FUV Live 25.
