Sunday Supper: 05/01/22

"Sunday Supper" kicks off a new month and another year on WFUV. This week I offer a couple of bonus favorites from last week's 25th anniversary retrospective. One is Mary Gauthier's gripping "Mercy Now" from 2018, paired with a brand-new track from her forthcoming album, Dark Enough to See the Stars. Another is Paula Cole's performance of "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to be Free" in a set dedicated to freedom for the people of Ukraine.

I'll also have new releases by Greg Greenway, Janis Ian, and Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, plus a medley of musical couples from around the world: Ash & Eric, South for Winter, Big Little Lions, The Weeping Willows, and Folkapotamus.

As John Lennon said, it's just like starting over from 5-6 p.m. EDT at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org and anytime you desire in the Weekend Archives, on the WFUV app, or the long-lasting smart speaker of your choice.
