One of music's more creative and courageous artists, Natalie Merchant, hits the big 6-0 this coming week, prompting a toast on this week's "Sunday Supper." We'll dive into some highlights from her 10,000 Maniacs days, along with her distinctive solo career.

I'll also have new releases from some other strong women, Lucinda Williams, Tret Fure, and Allison Russell, and, devastated by the violence in the Mideast, musical prayers for peace by Martin Sexton, Arlo Guthrie, John Lennon, and more.
