Sunday Supper: 12/31/23

With the clock ticking toward midnight, this week's "Sunday Supper" recaps musical memories of 2023: the top songs of the year IMHO and some of the legends we lost along the way. The Milk Carton Kids gave us a stellar album, I Only See the Moon, and graced us with a superb session in Studio A. Other highlights included songs by Josh Ritter, Joan Osborne, Natalie Merchant, Laufey, The Scooches, and more.

Among those whose passing we mourn were David Crosby, Gordon Lightfoot, Robbie Robertson, Burt Bacharach, Tony Bennett, Harry Belafonte, and Jimmy Buffett. Looking forward to the New Year, I'll preview the first "On Your Radar" of 2024 with Joe Jencks, Zoe Mulford, and The Honey Badgers this Tuesday at the Bitter End.
