Sunday Supper: 08/04/24

Technically this weekend is the midway point between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox, so summer turns to high on this week's "Sunday Supper" with midsummer songs. You'll hear avatars of summer like the Beach Boys and Bruce Springsteen, not one one but two Joni Mitchell summer selections, and faves by Frank Sinatra, Gordon Lightfoot, R.E.M., Chuck Prophet, and Bob Dylan, among others.

Some may be less predictable, like Bill Morrissey, Ana Egge, Red Molly, Janis Ian, and Tina Ross..

It's a summertime thing from 4:00-6:00 p.m. EDT at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org, not to mention in the WFUV Archives, on the WFUV app, or the lazy, hazy smart speaker of your choice.
