Sunday Supper: 09/15/24

There's no one more influential in the innovative, Appalachian-influenced acoustic music world than Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. Four years after a tornado destroyed their Nashville home, they've returned with a masterful new album, Woodland, which I'm pleased to share on this week's "Sunday Supper."

Other new releases include Cassandra Lewis, Mark Knopfler, Kate McDonnell, Dario Acosta Teich, and Neale Eckstein. And as the concert calendar has burgeoned post-Labor Day, I'll have music by Lizzie No, Kirsten Maxwell, Aaron Nathans & Michael G. Ronstadt, Orly Dendavid, and Jolie Holland.

Follow the music from 4:00-6:00 p.m. EDT at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org, as well as on-demand in the WFUV Archives, on the WFUV app, or the music-loving smart speaker of your choice.
