Sunday Supper: 10/06/19

The New York-based Americana outfit, Bobtown, combines sublime harmonies with solid songwriting by the three women in the group (Karen Dahlstrom, Katherine Etzel, and Jen McDearman), not to mention the contributions of Allen Lee Backer on guitar and banjo. This weeks "Sunday Supper" presents a live session with them in support of their new album, Chasing the Sun, and their concert next Sunday, October 13 at Rockwood Music Hall.

Rockwood is also the home of my monthly "On Your Radar" series, which features Our Band (Justin Poindexter and Sasha Papernik), Terry Klein, and Kate Callahan this Tuesday. We'll hear from them on this week’s show, along with brand new releases by Pieta Brown and Paula Cole.
