Sunday Supper: 09/01/19

Labor Day may represent the unofficial end of summer to some folks, but not the "Sunday Supper." To quote The Levins, it's just a "Brighter Day." On this week's program, I'll give some love to them and a few other other talented New York-area artists, including the unvarnished voice of Bill Scorzari and a trio women with strong productions values - Marci Geller, Emily Mure, and Ana Egge, who enlisted Iris DeMent for a duet on her new album, Is It the Kiss.

But we won't forget the hard-working people, either. Let's drink to the salt of the earth, with the drink of your choice, between 5-6 p.m. at 90.7/wfuv.org and on demand in the WFUV Weekend Archives, (easy to find if you ask Alexa).
