Sunday Supper: 03/21/21

For the past four years, I've made sure that every edition of "Sunday Supper" contains at least a couple of songs that appeal to our better selves. I call them "Songs of Compassion and Commitment." This week, with spring at hand, I'm devoting a whole show to them.

You'll hear classics by Harry Chapin and Mahalia Jackson, rockers by Bruce Springsteen and Ben Harper, recent favorites by Brother Sun, Rhiannon Giddens, Jean Rohe, and the Chapin  Sisters, and a very special Laura Nyro cover by Shawn Colvin and Chris Botti.
