More than 10 years ago, Loudon Wainwright observed, "I'm older than my old man now." That's even more true as he turns 75 this week, and the "Sunday Supper" celebrates the birthday of a singular artist. We'll also have a toast to Labor Day and to Chrissie Hynde, who hits the Big 7-0 on Tuesday.

In addition, I'll share new music by Paula Cole, Alisa Amador, Ana Egge, and Kate Taylor and unearth some favorites by the Rolling Stones, Guy Clark, and the Staples Singers.
