Sunday Supper: 11/27/22

"Sunday Supper" remembers two outstanding guitarists this week: Jimi Hendrix, who would have turned 80 on Sunday, and Danny Kalb, founder of the seminal NYC band, the Blues Project, who died on November 19. We'll hear Hendrix covers by Jamie Cullum, Rickie Lee Jones and Vance Gilbert and a couple of Kalb's later blues-oriented solo albums. 

There will also be covers of Joni Michell and Sandy Denny by Dave Van Ronk and Liz Simons, standout performances from a couple of guys named Reese (Reese Fullum and Rees Shad) at the Northeastern Regional Folk Alliance, a pair of teenagers to watch (Stella Prince and Aspen Jacobsen), and favorites from Josh Ritter and Jonathan Byrd.
