Sunday Supper: 11/26/23

Having already saluted the vibrant 80-year-old Joni Mitchell this month, "Sunday Supper" turns to another octogenarian with a birthday this week, that master of melody and irony, Randy Newman. We'll hear a slew of covers, ranging from Bonnie Raitt and Nilsson to Nina Simone and Joe Cocker, along with a few carefully chosen originals.

I'll also have new releases by Grace Potter, Rees Shad, Jack's Waterfall, Tret Fure, and Emma's Revolution, and favorites by Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, the aforementioned Joni, and Fairport Convention, among others.
