Sunday Supper: 08/20/23

Just six weeks after celebrating Robbie Robertson's 80th birthday, "Sunday Supper" has the sad task of honoring his passing. This week we'll have a few tunes from The Band and Robbie solo, plus a medley of his songs covered by The Roches, Dar Williams, Shawn Colvin, and Joan Baez.

On a happier note, I'll toast Robert Plant's 75th birthday and offer new releases by Joni Mitchell, James Maddock, Josh Ritter, The Kennedys, Rachel Garlin, and Adam Lytle, plus favorites by Leonard Cohen, Jackson Browne, and Donovan.
