Sunday Supper: 09/24/23

In the past two years Allison Russell has emerged as one of music's reigning stars. This week, on the onset of autumn, I'm delighted to share her new song, "Springtime," on "Sunday Supper." That's just one of the new releases by favorite female artists, including Joan Osborne, Rachael Sage, Rachael Kilgour, and Antje Duvekot, along with newcomers Hallie Spoor and Stella Prince.

We'll also make time for standbys by The Band, Tom Rush, Joan Baez, and Leonard Cohen and learn about a new documentary about the Clearwater in Jeremy Rainer's chat with the filmmakers.

It might as well be spring between 4:00-6:00 p.m. EDT at 90.7 FM and streaming online, plus on-demand in the WFUV Archives, on the WFUV app or the seasonal smart speaker of your choice.
