Sunday Supper: 06/30/24

In honor of Independence Day, this week's "Sunday Supper" offers songs about the American Dream, by Paul Simon, Sierra Ferrell, John Mellencamp, and others, including a cover of "American Girl" by Dierks Bentley from the new release, Petty Country: A Celebration of Tom Petty.

In addition to our country's birthday, I'll celebrate the 75th birthday of Iowa's favorite son, Greg Brown, and pay tribute to the beloved singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Tom Prasada-Rao, who passed after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
