Sunday Supper: 02/02/20

Sunday is both Super Bowl Sunday and Groundhog Day, but there's not going to be anything recycled about "Sunday Supper." We'll kick it off with a nod to English chanteuse's Laura Marling's 30th birthday. Later in the show we'll slide over to toast her neighbor in the CD shelves, Bob Marley, who would've been 75 on Thursday.

We'll get a taste of the new album by The Wood Brothers and a remarkable musical conversation about race in America, Reggie Harris's and Greg Greenway'Deeper Than the Skin. The a cappella quartet, Windborne, will cap things with their inspirational "Song of the Times."

Tune in from 5-6 p.m. EST at 90.7 FM/wfuv.org and you won't miss a play of the big game. And if you do get distracted, remember the WFUV Weekend Archives online at wfuv.org, on the WFUV app, or the smart speaker of your choice.
