Sunday Supper: 12/13/20
One of music's most talented married couples, Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, are chronicling their busy lives in a 10-episode documentary called It Was the Music, premiering tonight online at fans.live and available soon on Amazon. The cast includes notables like Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris, and Rosanne Cash. and the soundtrack includes classic songs performed by Larry and Teresa, as well as guests like Buddy Miller with the Midnight Ramble Band. For a taste, tune in this week on the "Sunday Supper."
We'll also have an unlikely reinterpretation of Billie Holiday by M. Ward, a medley of songs for Hanukkah from Aaron Nathans & Michael G. Ronstadt, Sara Thomsen & Paula Pedersen, and SONIA disappear fear, a track from the new Cry Cry Cry album, and a tribute to Phil Ochs by Martyn Joseph, Rod MacDonald, and Pat Wictor.
I'll keep the musical candle burning from 5-6 p.m. EST at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org or anytime day or night in the Weekend Archives, on the WFUV app or the nonsectarian smart speaker of your choice.
