Sunday Supper: 09/13/20

As the summer segues into autumn, I find myself thinking of the passage of time on this week's "Sunday Supper." Bruce Cockburn advises "Life Short, Call Now," and Huntington's Josie Bello vows "Have Purpose Live Long." Liz Simmons of Low Lily fame offers a gorgeous cover of "Who Knows Where the Time Goes," while Tret Fure observes "Far Too Soon" on the pandemic.

FUV fame Josh Ritter cautions "Time Is Wasting" on his new EP, See Here, I Built You a Mansion, while Jefferson Berry and the UAC find there's "Not Enough Time." That's usually the case with "Sunday Supper," but I'll work in some Peter, Paul & Mary, B.B. King, and The Eagles, as well as more new songs by James Lee Baker and Grain Thief.

I hope you'll make time to listen from 5-6 p.m. at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org. If that's not convenient, do it anytime in the WFUV Weekend Archives, on the WFUV app or the eminently flexible smart speaker of your choice.
