Sunday Supper: 09/06/20

"Sunday Supper" ushers in September with multiple causes for celebration. The most obvious is Labor Day, which Joe Jencks, Mike Glick, and David Roth, among others, observe. Three favorite artists celebrate significant birthdays this week: Aimee Mann (60) and Neko Case (50), both on Tuesday, and Leo Kottke (75) on Friday. After a 15-year hiatus, Leo has teamed up again with Phish bassist Mike Gordon on a new album, Noon. We'll make room for a track from that, as well as a classic Kottke guitar instrumental.

Tuesday is also the night of the latest "On Your Radar," starring Julie and John Pennell from Nashville, Jordi Baizan from Houston, and Mary-Elaine Jenkins from Brooklyn.  We'll have a preview of all three, as well as an exclusive track from another Brooklyn artist, Orly Bendavid and the Mona Dahls.
