Sunday Supper: 06/13/21

More than a year after its release in the U.K., Diana Jones' beautiful Song to a Refugee, which humanizes the migrant crisis with empathy and insight, is available in the U.S. I had the privilege of previewing one of the songs before, but I'm looking forward to playing more, starting this week on "Sunday Supper." Diana is one of the artists I'll be highlighting, along with Sloan Wainwright, Noel Paul Stookey, Paul Winter, and Emma's Revolution, on Clearwater's Virtual Hudson River Revival next Saturday.

I'll also preview the lineup for Tuesday's virtual "On Your Radar" with The Accidentals, Tim Grimm, and Jaspar Lepak and find time for songs by Susan Werner, Suzzy & Maggie Roche, Townes Van Zandt, and the Grateful Dead.

Nothing virtual about "Sunday Supper," it's the real thing between 5-6 p.m. ET at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org, or anytime on demand in the WFUV Weekend Archives, on the WFUV app or the revivable smart speaker of your choice.
