Sunday Supper: 09/04/22

On this Labor Day weekend "Sunday Supper" celebrates working class heroes with songs by Lee Dorsey, Jim Croce, Justin Towhives, on the WFUnes Earle, the Strawbs, and Fred Arcoleo. Among the new releases, the most intriguing is James Taylor's cover of Leonard Cohen from Here It Is: A Tribute to Leonard Cohen, Larry Klein's project bringing jazz musicans together with rock vocalists.

We'll also hear new stuff from Loudon Wainwright III, Punch Brothers, Dan Tyminski (guitarist for Alison Krauss & Union Station), Abbie Gardner, and Shemekia Copeland, as well as favorites by the Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and The Kennedys.
