Sunday Supper: 07/23/23

Sunday would have been Bob Sherman's 91st birthday. As we continue to mourn his passing, we take the occasion to rebroadcast the final "Woody's Children" program on "Sunday Supper." It includes favorites like Pete Seeger and Tom Paxton, but also less expected choices such as Susan Werner and Randy Newman. There are other notable birthdays, too: Emily Saliers of Indigo Girls turned 60 yesterday, while Rufus Wainwright hit the Big 5-0.

Beyond that, I'll have new releases from The Nields, Nickel Creek, Joe Crookston, Rickie Lee Jones, and Allison Russell.
