Sunday Supper: 02/18/24

Nobody's accusing octogenarian Tom Rush of losing a step. He's just released a new CD of all original songs, Gardens Old, Flowers New, produced by sideman extraordinaire Matt Nakoa, and I'll share a track on this week's "Sunday Supper." The incorrigibly creative Susan Werner also has a new album; with Texas in her sights this time, it's called Halfway to Houston.

I'll also have new/recent releases from Lisa Bastoni, the American Patchwork Quartet, Karyn Oliver, Rupert Wates, the Heart Collectors, and Allison Russell, along with faves from The Beatles, Townes Van Zandt, Johnny Cash, Lyle Lovett, Reggie Harris, Peter, Paul & Mary, and others.

Supper's on the table from 4:00-6:00 p.m. EST at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org, as well as on-demand in the WFUV Archives, on the WFUV app, or wide-ranging smart speaker of your choice.
