Sunday Supper: 02/25/24
Since her hits in the mid-90's, Paula Cole has released a succession of creative albums in multiple genres. Her new one, Lo, has personal songs with an indie feel, except for "Calling All Saviors," which I'll play on this week's "Sunday Supper." Other new releases include Kasey Musgraves, Nellie McKay, Alice DiMicele, and Linda Marks.
Plenty of old favorites, too, including Janis Ian, Emmylou Harris, Keb' Mo', k.d. lang, and Neil Young. Plus a review of the musical Days of Wine and Roses, starring Brian d'Arcy James and Kelli O'Hara, a shout out to Roger Daltrey's 80th birthday, and a killer cover of Joni Mitchell by The Joni Project.
Calling all music lovers from 4:00-6:00 p.m. EST at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org, as well as on demand in the WFUV Archives, on the WFUV app, or the heroic smart speaker of your choice.
